The usual record of a private sale — a listing, a chat thread, a payment-app note — is controlled by one party and can be edited, deleted, or selectively screenshotted. When a dispute or a chargeback lands, it comes down to one person's word against the other's.

A SENT. bill of sale is different. It is sealed cryptographically before money changes hands and timestamped in a way that cannot be backdated. The item, condition, price, photos and provenance are bound together into a single tamper-evident record, the buyer's acknowledgment is sealed into the same record, and anyone — a buyer, a marketplace, a payment processor — can independently verify it. The question is answered before it's asked.
